Additional Comments: | BRUCE: I am the only candidate in this race with a proven record of standing up to bureaucratic bullies. Answering correctly is not enough; you need a fighter and champion. I am that man. | HERPIN: I have been a PPFC leader since inception and with the PP Chapter of the FCoC before that. I took the Colorado Ballot title Setting Board to the Colorado Supreme Court over the wording of Amendment 22. I have appeared on the radio, TV and before government bodies many times in support of our rights. I am a Life NRA member. | RADFORD: For questions 13, 14 and 15, yes, within the law, with Sheriff Maketa’s opinions & policies respected, and within reason in terms of offices that have money (such as the Treasurer office, for ex), the court house, etc. If one nut had not ruined it for all – we might still have open carry at City Hall. (Ed. Note: Radford voted to ban open carry in CS buildings, spring of 2003.) | ROSS: For the No votes I have underlined the reasons. Open carry for the most part encourages people to act strangely. I have carried my weapon openly both with a uniform and in civies with the same reaction. People get nervous and get act as if I was going to shoot them. This is the major reason I have concealed permit. |
