Past PPFC Meetings - 2002

	January 10, 2002: Getting ready for the 2002 elections - the caucus process. Wayne Williams, Larry Liston, and Tom Huffman told us about the caucus system - how to participate and get elected as a deligate. Also, how the various assemblies work and what it takes to get on the ballot.
	February 14, 2002: The capture of the Texas 7 in Woodland Park. Our February 14th meeting featured a great presentation by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office on how they participated in the capture of five of the Texas 7 escapees in Woodland Park. An excellent multimedia presentation was done by EPSO Undersheriff Terry Maketa, SVAT Lt Ken Moore, and Sgt Todd Evans.
	March 14, 2002: On March 14th, the PPFC sponsored a candidate forum for the Republican candidates for District 1: Bill Guman and Wayne Williams. The candidates answered written questions on topics ranging from the repeal of the ban on concealed carry in county parks to the destruction of firearms by the Sheriff's Office to raising taxes. The forum was moderated by Richard Randall from KVOR radio.
